Ginger Spring Onion Chicken Rice at Pulau, Off Jalan Tun Razak

The two superheroes' favourite place for lunch would always have to be either the Malay stall or the Chinese stall at Pulau, Off Jalan Tun Razak, opposite Menara Celcom.

Since Superhero S would always be calling for her Yin Yong (Cantonese fried koey teow mixed with deep-fried bee hoon) when they are eating at the Chinese stall, she decided to go for something else on the menu this time around.

And so, Superhero S ordered her Ginger Spring Onion Chicken Rice, while Superhero W ordered his favourite Fried Rice.

Our food arrived after waiting for 15 minutes. At times, when this place is really crowded, you really gotta be prepared to wait because there's only one chef in the kitchen. But the wait is always well worth it because the food is consistently good here. Here's my Ginger Spring Onion Chicken with Rice.

The plate of chicken is really pretty big actually. Even the chicky portion is generous, which is to be expected because the people here really don't mind feeding you with lotsa ingredients inside the dishes. Even the rice is a big plateful. Told the uncle to reduce my portion but instead he told me to eat more, EAT MORE.

And here's Superhero W's Fried Rice.

Another big big plate of fried rice! Very very appetising indeed! Haha... simple yet flavourful.. :p

Haha. Both dishes are really good. They're even more delicious when you order an additional egg to complement the entire meal. *drools...*

For the Ginger Spring Onion Chicken Rice, the chicken + rice + egg = RM 6. That's fine with me! :p

This place is just at the back of O'Mulia I think. It's the only Chinese stall sandwiched between the other two Malay stalls.

Erm, if not mistaken, I think the shop is open till late evening, probably around 6-7pm. But the uncle is rather unpredictable, sometimes he closes early, sometimes late. :)
