The two superheroes are a bit furious with SMART tunnel.
What the heck is wrong with you??
The SMART tunnel has been closed (until further notice) since the day KL "flooded" (And I don't think I even see any flood in KL!) like 2 days ago. And that has made our days even more frustrating. We use the SMART tunnel everyday to commute, to and fro. No joke...And that's like RM4 a day!
Why? It saves us having to face the heavier traffic above at the south of Jalan Tun Razak and those near the TUDM base. We can understand that SMART needed to be closed during its one-week testing period a few months back..But when the tunnel was in fact used for easing the flood in KL two days ago, does it have to be closed for another one whole week even after just one use each time??
Then what's gonna happen if KL floods for like 2-3 days? What will happen to SMART? Hai......Why like that? *Tsk tsk tsk

During peak, SMART will hold around 3 millions cubic meters of water. They can't release the water by fully open the SMART flood gates and discharge the water ASAP. Concrete flood gates will collapse if you do it in rush.

moo-t -> yes, thats the fact.. but they also promised with us.They said, "if the real flood happen, everything will be settle within 1 day or less" ..
I know they do a lot for this flood and traffic, but plz notify us about what happen.. nway, thanx moo-t. (new knowledge about SMART tunnel ) :D

dear moo_t, thanks for the info..we've always been pro-SMART before this happened.
But anyway, let's all hope SMART opens soon..otherwise...the jam is enough to kill us! :p
